The recent death of Michael Jackson has caused a non-stop media event on TV right now. It seems Michael Jackson’s untimely death is still the thing to talk about on the news right now. You can’t turn the channel on television without seeing something about Michael Jackson and it may stay like this until more questions are answered. I know many things are left unanswered right now and it’s going to take a lot of time for some these answers to come out. I haven’t heard much on MJ’s animals and if Michael still owned many animals.

If you’re a Michael Jackson fan and you know what animals he owned as of today; then please let me know how many and what they were. Micheal Jackson is known for owning exotic animals and we have seen many of these over the years. I haven’t heard anything about his animals lately and I am not aware of any that he owned at the time of his death. I would be shocked if he didn’t own any, but I’m sure he had a few. Did Michael Jackson ever open a zoo? I know this sounds like something that would be right up his alley and I’m not aware of any zoos that Michael Jackson owned or donated large amounts of money to. I think it would be interesting to see if he did have any part of an ownership with a zoo and which lucky person might get to inherit that from the King of Pop.

This is a great little tool to see if you are running at top speed or if you have something that might be slowing you down a bit. You can test dial up connections or your DSL or cable services. If you already know what speed you have with your internet service provider; then you will be able to compare the speed they are charging you for and what speed you actually have. If your speed is slower than its suppose to be, you could have a trojan, malware, spyware, or something like that on your computer that’s slowing you down.

I often do searches online trying to find the tools that will remove any spyware or viruses from your computer. I like to run at least one scan a day and sometimes more to keep my computer free of the harmful viruses and files that get download to your computer; while surfing the Net.

My computer ran at a speed of 327 point something and this was calculated at Kbps. I ran the test a 2nd time and it came up at 328 kbps. It appears I gained a little speed on the 2nd test. You may want to test your computer twice and see if you get two different speeds too.

Did you know Father’s Day is coming soon? I know we just got done celebrating Mother’s Day and pretty soon it will be time to pay our salutes to all the fathers out there. I haven’t quite made up my mind yet on what to get my dad, but I know he would love to own a watch like this. There are some nice citizen watches out there, but I think this gold watch with the diamonds looks really sharp. I personally think the gold colored watches stick out more than the silver watches that Citizen makes.

If you haven’t figured out a good gift for Father’s Day yet; perhaps your dad would like a watch too? I think these are timeless (pun intended) gifts and if you get a really nice watch, like the one in the picture above, your dad will cherish it for a long time. This is one of those types of gifts that your daddy will remember and it will make the Father’s Day of 2009 really special.  The new show from CBS is still on the air. I know some people thought it stop coming on, but Harper’s Island is now being shown on Saturday nights. I’m not sure why they left their Thursday night spot, but it is still coming on at 9PM EST. They are still on CBS and the strange things continue to take place on the Seattle Island.

The murder count is racking up and we still don’t know who the killer is. There are clues each week that we have to digest and try to figure out who the killer is going to be. I’m sure the producers of Harper’s Island have a few twists up their sleeves. I don’t think the killer would be anyone that looks like the obvious choice. One of those people is the boyfriend to the girl that was found hanging at home. Her death has pointed the finger at that guy and he does act strange. Since he does look like the killer or at least the one that is responsible for his girlfriend’s death, I don’t think he’s our man. I guess I should say “woman” too; along with “man” because it’s possible the killer is a woman. I know my very first guess before this new series even started, I was guessing Abbey as the killer. I know she is the last person we would expect to be killing, but that’s the way I think the show’s creators are thinking on this one.

I do think it’s something different to watch on television, but I don’t think it will win any awards for the best new show. I’m sure there will be better programs on TV than this in the 2009 year. I do like Harper’s Island and you can start watching it this Saturday to catch up with the rest of us. There is still a lot of people breathing on this tiny island off the coast of Seattle in Washington State. The number does get lower each week as people continue to get murdered. Stay tuned…

I’m sure many of you remember or know who Charles Manson is. He’s not famous for racking up a bunch of kills like some serial killers have did over the years. In fact, the term “serial killers” didn’t exist during the days when Charles Manson was a free man. That term started in the early 1980’s and it was Ted Bundy that became the first serial killer. Manson was known as someone that could manipulate people and even enough to make them kill for him. He preached and sung about peace, love, and harmony, but his words led to people dying and good people turning bad when they was under the influence of Charlie.

He doesn’t look like the same man we know as Charles Manson or the guy from Helter Skelter today. He has changed quite a bit and he does seem like a harmless old man now. I’m sure Charlie won’t be seeing the outside of a California prison anytime soon. He will live his final days on this planet locked away from the public and he will never control anyone on the outside again. He may have some fame locked up and perhaps a few prisoners that admire him, but he’s not the same mind-controlling man we once knew, that is responsible for several people losing their life.

When the air conditioner in the car goes out, it can make driving seem like a job. For those that live in warm weather climates where you need a/c during the summer time, I’m sure you know what I mean. It can be down right miserable trying to drive around with no cool air coming in. Rolling down the windows doesn’t help much if you’re stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. I think a lot of road rage and ill drivers on the roadways come from people that don’t have a working air conditioner in their automobiles.

If you have a car right now that doesn’t have a working air conditioner, you may want to fix it now, before the really hot weather sets in this year. Typically adding some Freon can fix most cars and give them cool air flowing in again. You may have a problem with the a/c compressor and this generally isn’t too hard or too expensive to fix either. I never take for granted the cool air I get flowing in when I drive around each day. I have been in the vehicles with no cool air or a/c working and it’s a terrible experience. The sun can really heat up our cars and all that heat gets trapped in and makes the inside of the car hotter than the outside temperature. This is the reason we have air conditioners in our cars and if yours is broken right now, you will certainly want to take care of it ASAP!

Please feel free to post your best trophy bass stories. Talk about the lures you used to catch the big monster and how long it took you to reel it in. I may have to subtract 1 pound for all the weight descriptions; since most fishermen bump up their fish’s weight. Go ahead and tell your best fishing story that involves catching a fresh water bass from a stream, river, or lake in North America or if you live in another part of the world where fresh water bass can be caught.

I don’t really have too many big bass stories. The biggest fish I have caught have always been carp and catfish. Those are the biggest types of fish I have ever managed to get on a hook and drag ashore. I have caught many nice bass over the years and I really don’t have one fish that sticks out from the others.

I have found patience reeling them in is the best way to get them to the bank. You don’t want to play with them all day, because bass will fight hard and try to find something to swim under and this can break your line. Even if you’re using a high pound test line to catch your bass with, it can still break and it doesn’t take a whopper to break it either. Bass fight harder than any other fish you can catch and I’m sure this is one of the reasons they are so popular to fish for these days.

I have had luck with many different types of lures. I know the pro fishermen like to use the big lures that have tails and spinners attached to them. I haven’t had much luck with those types of lures. I have found a yellow rooster tail works best for me and I mainly use this lure when I go fishing. The plastic worms are always a great choice too and I know every fisherman has his or her favorite color of plastic worm to use. I like the red, purple, and white ones the best and these have worked best for me. The lures that look like small fish that will have a 3 prong hook attached to them have been another lure that has caught a few nice bass on my fishing trips.

Now the live bait is the best way to go and I love fishing with live bait. The minnows and worms are a great way to catch fish fast. Bass love to eat food that is real and I highly recommend everyone trying live bait at least once on each fishing trip. Just catching a grasshopper or cricket in the yard or taking the time to dig up a few worms will give you a little extra bait on your fishing trips. This also gives you a break from constantly reeling in your lines and you can relax while fishing. If you stop to buy minnows, go ahead and pay the extra dollar for bass minnows. These are bigger than the crappie minnows and bass are more attracted to these. Crappie fishing is entertaining because you can catch a lot of fish in a short amount of time, but crappie don’t tug the line that much. They are just too easy to reel in and I like fighting with the big trophy bass the best. I hope this is the year that I finally land a big trophy bass, so I will have my own big fish story to tell.

I love riding bikes and taking a trip in the mountains is a great thing to do on the weekends. I know a lot of people that use their motorcycles for everyday transportation and I wouldn’t want a bike for that. Those warm, sunny afternoons on a Sunday in the middle of summer are perfect for a trip out on the motorcycle. If you worry about certain parts on your bike going bad or the weather conditions on a long trip, you can easily carry extra parts and gear with you on your trips. The store out in California is the first place you will want to stop at before you make your long trips. If you don’t live near the Thousand Oaks area of California, you can always order from them online. They do offer free shipping on any orders over $100; so this is just like visiting the store in person. Make sure to be careful out there on the roadways and remember that most drivers don’t look for the bike riders on the street. Your best bike ride is always the next one, so make sure it’s one to remember!

I know there are a lot of Oprah fans out there and many of us have seen the powers of her followers. I was just noticing the head of Harpo Productions (which is Oprah spelled backwards) is gaining a little weight these days. I know many of you have seen the Oprah shows about losing weight and how the most popular talk show host in the world has did a good job with it. Well that doesn’t seem to be the case lately and the world’s most watched talk show host is getting a little plump.

I don’t watch Oprah much and don’t know what is going on with her. She may have some health issues or perhaps she is pregnant? I would think her pregnancy would be major headlines and I haven’t heard anything about it. It there are no under lying health problems with Oprah Winfrey and if she isn’t pregnant; then she is certainly leaving the dinner table these days with a full tummy. I’m not trying to be mean or nothing, but just figured someone in her position would do a little more to control her weight gains.

The city of Chicago has two stars shinning a little light on their city these days. Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey are two Illinois residents that are proud to call the Chicago area home. The jury is still out on President Obama and how he will do as a U.S. President. Oprah has been doing many positive things for her state and the various charities she sponsors each year. She is on top of the world and no one ever knows how long that fame will last. If I was in her PR camp right now, I think I would suggest to her the extra weight she is carrying these days. Nothing wrong with being a little over weight, but Oprah isn’t a typical person and does need to set the bar high for her audience and the fans she has all over the world. Oprah is heavy right now based on the show I seen yesterday and it would do her some good to eat a little less and to jog a few laps around the city of Chicago.

Two things that we have to worry about these days are West Nile Virus and the new virus they are calling the Swine Flu or H1N1. Does either one of these scare you? Which one do you think is more of a threat to our society?

It seems the Swine Flu is the most popular right now and lots of attention has been focused on it. It looks like we may see this new virus decline this summer and then perhaps gain strength again in the fall. Experts and everyone in the medical field are working to find a vaccine for this new virus and this could help lessen the severity of the symptoms that are associated with the flu or influenza.

No one talks about the West Nile Virus anymore and it’s still present here. This is something that can spread really fast and mosquitoes can carry the West Nile Virus. Your next camping or fishing trip this summer may lead you with an encounter of a few mosquitoes. Not only can they be a pest and make you itch a lot, but you could really get sick from these pesky little critters.

A good way to prevent a bad experience with mosquitoes is to get a product like the Mosquito Magnet. This can help keep them off of you and your family and protect you from all the diseases they carry like the West Nile Virus. Make sure to get the neighbors on board too and help them remove the containers and standing water around their homes too. I use to deliver pizza and it’s one of the best jobs I ever had. I like to see pizza stories like this one and I can relate to them. I think everyone loves pizza and it’s always a welcome sight to see the pizza delivery man show up. Wow! That’s fast!

I know watching this video makes me hungry. I may have to go for some pizza tonight. I like the guy that can eat 17 slices in 5 minutes. There is no way I could eat that many in such a short time. I don’t think I could eat 17 slices of pizza in a hour. 17 slices of pizza is a lot of food and my stomach couldn’t take that much food at one time. It does seem the guy from CBS made an error when he does start talking about the guy that eats pizza so fast. He said 22 pizzas and he meant 22 slices. No way someone could eat 22 pizzas in 10 minutes.

The guy from Dominos made pizzas fast and I can tell this from experience. Before you pizza owners go trying to offer this guy a job and stealing him from Dominos, keep a few things in mind. The guy is not shown tossing his own pizza dough. The pizza dough is the toughest thing about making a pizza. At Dominos Pizza they come in small round clumps and it takes a little time to make them in the pizza shape for adding to the oven. It can take a couple of minutes to beat out the dough or in this guy’s case, he could probably do it in about 20 to 30 seconds. Another thing that probably caught the eyes of pizza owners or people that have worked in a job making pizzas is this guy wasted a lot of cheese. Cheese is the most expensive item Dominos buys or any other pizza place. You can get all the toppings and dough you want for a far cheaper price than the cheese. Since cheese is so expensive for pizza owners you definitely don’t want to waste any of it. This guy making the pizzas so fast wasted a good bit of cheese that fell to the sides or on the ground. I actually think I could go faster or match the time this guy did by just adding sauce and 1 topping to the pizzas he made.
