Our feet like to be happy and when they’re happy we are happy! While browsing through the selections at MBT Shoes, I found some that I would like to own. A good pair of sandals is what every man and woman should have in their shoe collection and I like the Kisumu sandal. It has a nice and rugged look to it and these sandals look like they would last a lifetime. These sandals would be perfect for the evenings after work and when you want to get out in the yard and walk around some. Your family may have already had their summer vacation for this year, but you could take these sandals on your trips to the beach next year. When you think about sandals and other types of shoes you can rest assure men, the women are already ahead of us.

Here is a nice and comfy looking boot made by Cougar. All the cowgirls looking for a little fun at the club would look good in a pair of boots like these. I think boots look good on women and I’m surprised more of them don’t wear boots. Beautifeel Shoes is a brand that we usually see women wearing around the office or at work. The men get to see you enough in those shoes ladies, so when you do get away from work and want to let your hair down, go a little crazier on the footwear. If you don’t like the color or style of boots I have suggested; then get with your friends and go shoe shopping online with each other. I know this won’t be hard for most of you and shoes are much more important for women than they are men.

I don’t think the school girls need to wear boots or anything too fancy to school. The younger ladies going to school each day are better suited for a good tennis shoe. I know this may not go with the outfit you’re wearing or it isn’t the most trendy thing to wear, but being comfortable should be the most important thing for girls and boys going to school. Just go with the simple and conventional pair of sneakers and save your more fashionable shoes for the mall.

It seem just like an ordinary day for 3 fishermen who were planning an over night fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico. It can be a lot of fun to go deep sea fishing, but not sure I would want to at night. Being on a small boat in the Gulf of Mexico after the sun has went down sounds like a scary fishing trip to me. It would be really scary for the 3 fishermen that made their 1 night fishing trip; turn into an 8 day survival trip on the high seas in the Gulf of Mexico.

The 3 men were from Texas and their names are Tressel Hawkins, James Philips, and Curtis Hall that decided to take that fishing trip on Friday August 21st. I think all 3 men figured they would be spending Saturday night back in their homes with some fish in the freezer and a nice little tan or sunburn. That wasn’t the case when the boat started to take on water that night and soon it would cap-size and leave all 3 men clinging on for their lives. They made a really smart move when they saw that the boat was going to be useless to them and grabbed up some potato chips, crackers, bubble gum, and 3 gallons of fresh water.

I’m not sure the exact details or what was going through their minds, but I can guess what they were thinking. I’m sure when the sun came out on Saturday, they knew they would have to flag down a passing boat or get an airplane or helicopter to notice them from the air. The men did see oil rigs, boats, and even a helicopter from the Coast Guard, but nobody saw them. It must have been a terrible struggle for these 3 men and it would take 8 days before another boat would rescue them and bring help to their cap-sized boat in the Gulf of Mexico.

Little food and water makes any situation a bad one and being in the salty waters couldn’t have helped any. One man had a swollen leg due to the jelly fish that were stinging him. The days were filled with hot, sun rays beaming down and all 3 men suffered terrible sunburns from being exposed to the sun’s rays each day. I can’t imagine the fears they had at night when you couldn’t see nothing and the chances of a big shark swimming by and having you for a late night snack.

This story is really incredible and its amazing the 3 men survived for 8 days. Even the Coast Guard gave up hope of finding these 3 stranded fishermen alive. I don’t know if I truly trust the whole story right now and it does make you doubt the survival effort. It truly is amazing if these 3 men survived on the food and amount of time they said they were trapped in the ocean. I’m sure a full investigation will be done on this survival story and we will get more details about the things these men had to endure over these 8 days. It’s a “movie of the week” story, if it does turn out to be true. I will look forward to watching this one on TV; when someone decides to turn this great-ending story into a movie.

The last few days of August are ticking down and lots of different sports are about to get underway. It’s no different in fantasy sports and these leagues follow the real leagues that are about to start up. The fantasy baseball managers are all gearing up for their post seasons as the long fantasy baseball season is about to come to an end.

The NFL has preseason football in full-swing, the NHL has their preseason games just around the corner and the NBA will start up in early October. A lot of fantasy football owners have conducted their drafts and have their fantasy teams ready to go. A few fantasy football leagues will wait until the 4th preseason game is played, so they can have information on all the preseason game injuries that might happen to some of the star players. I would like to know how Brett Favre and Michael Vick are going in these fantasy football drafts. Did you take a gamble on Vick or Favre for your fantasy football team?

I know the hockey fans are ready for the puck to drop and soon fantasy hockey leagues will be forming. Hockey is a world-wide sport and it’s possible you have people in your fantasy hockey leagues that live in Europe or on other continents. North America has thousands and thousands of NHL fans that participate in these hockey fantasy drafts and these guys love to draft their own local stars. I live just north of Atlanta, so people in my area will want to load up on a few Atlanta Thrasher players. Fantasy hockey is one of the easier fantasy sports to do and follow and you should give it a try; if you haven’t never played fantasy hockey before.

Now the NBA season is what I can’t wait for. Along with the start of basketball, you do get many NBA fans looking to draft a fantasy basketball team. I know Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are the two most sought after NBA players. I’m a big Kobe fan and was glad to see the L.A. Lakers win the championship last year. I think the Lakers with Artest will repeat as champions and they will have another good season this year too. My advice to fantasy basketball owners is to draft Artest in the 2nd round and no later in the 3rd round. He’s going to put up some big time stats this year and will be a valuable player to have on your fantasy teams. The fantasy NBA action can’t start until the kick-offs occur and the guys on the ice drop the puck for the first time.

The world of eBooks is getting larger everyday. It pretty soon may have a larger library of books; than your local libraray and the copies they have in their possession. I don’t think making money from ebooks will be enough cash for people to quit their jobs, but could be a nice secondary income for some.

I think there are a lot of good online programs that people can make money from that may not have good writing skills. You can use your search engines to gather up a lot of this good information on how to make money online. If you do have some good information that you would like to get out there, I would suggest trying a blog first. A blog is an excellent way to convey your message; while interacting with your readers on various topics. Your readers can point out errors in your work or give you new ideas and suggestions to help make your writings better. Starting a blog first and doing a series of blog posts on a certain topic is a good starting point for anyone that wants to start their own ebooks.

We all know Forrest Gump didn’t do too well with keeping his Jenny. It wasn’t poor Forrest’s fault, but Jenny’s step dad and her drug addictions played a part in her absence from Mr. Gump. After Forrest started to make a few dollars, that Jenny chick wasn’t too far behind then and I guess you know how the movie goes from there.

A whole new movie is forming in South Carolina and once again we have a “Jenny” as the supporting actress. Jenny Sanford is her name and she is standing up to her husband, who just happens to be the Governor of South Carolina. This governor didn’t seem to like his Jenny that much and decided to go all the way to South America for a new girl friend. Normally this would have been fine, but Governor Sanford made 1 big mistake and he was still married to Jenny Sanford when he went fleeing south.

No big worries for Mrs. Sanford in South Carolina though. The whole world now knows just how bad of a guy Mark Sanford is and this Jenny is leaving her man too! Mark Sanford in some ways has the intelligence of Forrest Gump, but the man doesn’t have the Gump heart or the Bubba Gump Shrimping Company. He does hold the highest political office in the state of South Carolina and I’m sure the citizens want to see this man gone.

He really should be serving time behind bars. He has stole tax payer’s money for the 2nd time and he did pay back the money the first time he stole from the pockets of South Carolina residents. If a bank robber steals from a bank, they don’t give them the option of paying it back, it’s a crime that sends the bank robber straight to jail. Mark Sanford should be sent straight to jail for this latest episode of stealing tax payer money and this was money used to fund his trips to South America and meet up with his mistress.

The citizens of South Carolina have a good reason to be upset with their governor, but pretty soon that anger needs to shift toward the people still letting him hold his position. Mark Sanford is no longer welcomed as a U.S. Governor. I am a U.S. Citizen, but not a S.C. citizen and it shames me to have a man like this running one of our 50 states.  

There is another part of the world dealing with a similar circumstance. The citizens of Iran have a leader in office that doesn’t belong there and the voters don’t want him there either. It’s clear the majority of Iran doesn’t want their current leader in power and he’s only there because of false election results; that his political party tampered with. Iran and South Carolina are in the same boat and neither have the right man in control of their country or state. It may be time for people living outside the borders of South Carolina to step-in and help get Mark Sanford taken out of office and the man really should be facing jail time for his theft of tax payer money! His ex-wife Jenny is the one residents should support and a vote for Mark Sanford is a vote for cheaters, liars, and people that don’t love their wives or kids. It may sound harsh talking about a U.S. Governor this way, but he’s no better than the Iranian Leader holding office or any person in prison serving a sentence for theft and robbery.

It all depends where you call home that determines the different prices for so many things. Living on the east coast in Georgia, I see that gas prices are much cheaper in my area than the northeast or western parts of the U.S.. Using the Mississippi River as the divider, you can see big price differences in the east versus the west. Clearly the folks living on the eastern side of the Mississippi River have much cheaper items like cars or groceries they can purchase. There isn’t too many advantages living on the west coast, but a few do exist. A vineyard in California will offer cheaper wine to the resdients there or to the states that border the Golden State. The same might not hold true for someone wanting to buy insurance. I may be able to find a better rate in my state; than someone looking to buy auto insurance in oregon. Actually insurance may be different and this is something that everyone is closer to on a level playing field.

I think the big thing that lies in the price differences is transportation. The Mississippi River is a big transportation route for companies wanting to distribute their products. I’m not sure what the insurance rates are for the boaters, but they probably make more routes toward the Atlantic Ocean than the Pacific Ocean; once they leave the water. If you’re looking for the best prices on a dozen of eggs; then I would suggest shopping in the East. If your in the market for insurance; then the prices are probably the same for all of us. However, the West does have more higher paying jobs and the residents out there can afford these higher priced items. I guess at the end of the day it all works out even and we will always be left with paying taxes and those never-ending insurance rates.

A new show on the Animal Planet network called Into the Pride is going to cause some buzz I’m sure. First off, you have someone that is disturbing a group of lions and it serves no purpose. The host is claiming he needs to get these lions use to humans, so they can continue to exist in their part of Southern Africa. I’m not buying that one and lions in the wild should not learn to live with humans or get use to them in any way. The host is not someone that is really caring for these animals or trying to help them in any way. He just wants to follow these lions around and get a TV deal with a big time cable network.

Safety is another big issue that people will be buzzing about. This guy is getting way to close to these wild lions and often he just has a big stick as his only defense. The male lions named “Curtis” and “Brutus” are not going to be detoured by this stick and they could really cause some life-threatening situations for this host and his crew. The female lions can be just as deadly and it seems “Cleo” is showing her spunk. Into the Pride doesn’t belong on television and serves no real purpose for this big new series that is now playing on the Animal Planet.
