I’m not sure why the Adam Walsh case in Hollywood, Florida was closed recently. There are too many questions that remain to close the case and police did not receive new evidence to close the case. Too many pieces of this puzzle doesn’t add up and why the police would close the case 12 years after their main suspect died in prison without the benefit of new evidence surfacing makes this case even more fishy.

I’m not sure why the father John Walsh thought they had the right guy many years earlier. Based on the evidence (which is very weak) the police have nothing and their main evidence is a confession. Jefferey Dahmer has more links to Adam Walsh than the person they are closing the case with as the murderer. Dahmer lived in Miami during the time, he killed people in horrific ways by cutting them into pieces, he had access to a blue van, the blood stain in the washroom where he stayed and eye witness testimony that states Dahmer matches the man they saw better than the killer police are naming. All of these things are links to Adam Walsh that the named killer didn’t score well in. There are many suspects in this case and even the parents can’t be let off the hook either. Mrs. Walsh was having an affair at the time of Adam’s disappearance and that leaves the mind to wonder if it had anything to do with this abduction/murder case.

Police did not close this case 27 years later due to new information, they closed it based on the lack of information coming in and this case should not have been closed. The Hollywood Police department has left too many questions unanswered that I see on the table right now. I believe for them to close this case 12 years after the death of the main suspect in prision, leads me to believe that someone associated with the case doesn’t feel good about closing the Adam Walsh case. Don’t give up on Adam’s justice and let’s give him the justice he deserves. Like his father John Walsh (host of America’s Most Wanted) has said many times, the only victim in this case is Adam and no one else’s feelings should matter and that includeds the parents. Just how certain do we know when the start of this crime happened? Did Adam go missing before the trip to Sears and he never was at the Hollywood Mall with his mother on the day or the time that his mother says he went missing? No reason to close this case now and the parents receiving some type of closure by closing this case is not good enough, because only Adam is the real victim in this case and no one else.
