Are Police in Aruba real? Not sure what’s going on in Aruba and authorities still don’t get it down there. Natalee Holloway from Alabama went missing in Aruba in 2005. This May will mark the 5 year anniversary that Aruba Police has let her killer go. Perhaps Natalee did have a seizure and a lethal mix of drugs and alcohol. Isn’t Jordan van der Sloot the one who gave her the drugs? Isn’t he also the same one that declared her dead and decided to dispose of her body? He’s guilty! He’s admitted it! What more do you need?

The latest news making headlines today is another confession from Jordan van der Sloot. This will make the 3rd or 4th one he has given already. Some people think his latest confession could be fantasy and not the way things went down on Natalee’s last day on this planet. That could very well be true and he’s not telling the exact truth. What is truth is the fact that him and 2 of his friends were the last ones seen with Natalee Holloway. Jordan van der Sloot was there when Natalee expired on this planet and he did not do things an innocent person would do. His actions speak loudly and it’s clear he feels responsible for the death of Natalee Holloway. It doesn’t matter what the actual cause was, because he took away all hopes, that Natalee could have been revived, when he decided to dispose of her body.

As long as Jordan van der Sloot is a free man and Aruba is now just as guilty as him, by not convicting him for some form of punishment. The ban on Aruba is still in effect and no Americans should be visiting Aruba. No one on Earth should be visiting a place that allows murderers to walk free. Jordan van der Sloot is the killer of Natalee Holloway. It doesn’t matter if it was direct or indirect. He’s the guy that took away a 18 year old girl’s life back in May 2005. Everyone knows this and the picture couldn’t be more clearer than it is right now. The latest confession took place back in August and we are just now learning about it? One more black-eye for Aruba. The next step in this horrible case is for the U.S. Government to take action. They need to ban all travel and trade with the Aruba Government. I would even go as far as adding Aruba to the list of countries that currently make up the “Axis of Evil”. You can now think of Aruba and North Korea as 1 nation striving for evil, injustice, and enemies of world peace.

It isn’t too hard to find a nice golf course in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. There is over 80 golf courses in Myrtle Beach and the nearby surrounding areas. I would like to find some specific golf courses that were linked with one of the Myrtle Beach Resorts. You can find some resorts that are located away from the Atlantic Ocean or on the side of the main strip that is not ocean side. One area that has caught our attention is a location known as the Grand Strand. No matter how much fun in the sun we have at those classy resorts in Myrtle Beach, we still plan to get in a round of golf each day we are there. I normally get sunburned pretty bad on these beach/golf trips, so not sure my last day will be swinging the golf club in that hot South Carolina sun. I will definitely get a chance to play 3 eighteen hole golf courses and possibly a 4th one; if I don’t forget to reapply my sunblock. We would like to find the closest golf courses to the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, but could travel a small distance if we find one worth traveling for. It’s time to pack the bags and move south for the winter. I think the cold air up north is beginning to get to these old bones and I need warm weather in the winter months too. I love Florida and think I will be happy there. I currently have a Directv subscription for my television and it will be easy to keep it; while making the move to the Sunshine State. That’s one of the great things about Direct TV. If you decide to move down the street or to another state, they can easily transfer your services to a new address with no problem. I don’t even need to climb on the roof and take my current satellite dish down from the house. I just take the boxes and the remote controls and they will furnish me a new dish to put on the roof or on a pole out in the yard. I do wonder about owning Direct TV in Florida with all the lightning strikes they get each year. Florida is the number one state in the country when it comes to lightning strikes and I hope my satellite dish doesn’t get struck by lightning.

Do you currently have a satellite system that you watch your TV from? If you do and have made a move to a new location, please let me know how it went for you and if there was any problems getting your satellite dish transferred. I don’t expect any problems and I think it will be an easy transition. You don’t want to move to a new home and not be able to have television to watch. It is important that you can get your TV service hooked up within the first 24 hours, so you have something on television to watch.

Florida is full of great seafood restaurants, theme parks, and the sandy beaches are just the icing on the cake. I’m not sure how much TV I will be watching my first few days down there anyways. I will have to learn a few new channels and see where the Florida sports teams play at on Direct TV. All of my other channels will pretty much be the same and I won’t have to learn any new movie channels or things like that. The local channels that Direct TV offers might be a little different too, but they will probably be replacing the local channels I have now. I think it will be an easy move and if I can stay away from the lightning strikes, I think Florida will be a nice place to live.

All of the uncertainty in the world oil markets may leave some looking at cars and trucks that use diesel gases. I’m not sure what the price differences may be in diesel parts versus the normal car parts you have in your gas automobiles now. I think the people that like to take several trips a year, family vacations, or the retired folks that like to travel a lot, will want to look more at the diesel products for sale today. It seems diesel prices are more stable when we see those huge spikes in the oil prices at the pump. If you know you will be traveling on long trips in the future and don’t like to worry about gas prices; then your next car or truck could run off diesel. This would be a way of skirting around the unpredictable oil markets that consumers face in the 21st century.

An interesting Saturday in college football with some top 10 teams getting tested and some going down in defeat. So what does this mean for college football? It’s hard to say right now with the BCS rankings from the computers coming out later today, but it should be easy to rank the 1 loss teams in the country. It really depends to what part of the country you travel to, on what the differences each college football division has and why their teams should be ranked ahead of other teams in the country. It really comes down to competition and the tougher your football schedule is, then the better results you should get in the two major polls for college football.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are clearly the best 1 loss team in college football. Their number 19th ranking before Saturday’s match up against number 4 Virginia Tech was far too low for this team. After a convincing win at home against the number 4 team in the country, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets should move ahead of all the other 1 loss college football teams in the country. Let’s look at their wins and what team beat them this year to get a better understanding of the competition level they’re playing against. This gives us a better idea of how tough it was to be a 1 loss team in college football at this point in the season.

Georgia Tech has wins over 2 ranked teams in the country and their only loss was to the Miami Hurricanes which was the 9th ranked team in the country going into Saturday’s play. Quality wins over Clemson, North Carolina, Mississippi State, Florida State, and now Virgina Tech can not be over looked. This is a pretty tough schedule and the Yellow Jackets only have 1 loss on the season.

Now speaking of Miami, the Miami Hurricanes defeated Georgia Tech, so shouldn’t they be ranked ahead of the Yellow Jackets?

Perhaps they do have a strong case against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and I can buy this argument. The Hurricanes did defeat Georgia Tech at home and their only loss was to the Virginia Tech Hokies. We can also look at the opponents Miami has faced and see the quality of wins they have on their college football schedule.

So maybe Georgia Tech isn’t the clear number 1 choice for the best 1 loss team in the country. The strength of schedule to this point is about even and the Hurricanes actually defeated the team that is question with them, so the Miami Hurricanes are the best 1 loss team in the country right now. Georgia Tech has a chance to move up as they will face tougher opponents down the stretch, so if neither team loses for the rest of the year, both should be side by side in the BCS standings.

Other notable 1 loss teams in the country would be the USC Trojanswho play in a weak Pac10 and will never be able to keep up withan ACC school based on strength of schedule. Only 2 quality wins for the Trojans this year and just how quality Notre Dame and a Ohio State team that loss to Purdue and barely defeated Navy would question the definition of quality. It only gets worse for the Trojans of USC when you look at the team they loss to. BothMiami and Georgia Tech have losses against a ranked team; while the USC Trojans loss to a team that didn’t even win a football game last year in the Washington Huskies. Money sometimes speaks louder than talent in college football and it’s the only thing keeping the Trojans in the top 10 rankings right now. No way should they even be in the top 10 with that loss against the Huskies earlier this year. USC was holding on by a thread and needed Ohio State to keep that thread in tact, but now USC should clearly be out of the National Title picture and any BCS bowl games. It would be a travesty in college football to keep this southern California team in the top 10 rankings any longer.

A good example of just how bias and money propelled the college football rankings are toward USC, just look at the next 1 loss team on the list. The LSU Tigers who play in a tough SEC football conference only made 1 mistake and that was losing to the Florida Gators who is the number 1 ranked team in the country. No way should USC be ranked ahead of LSU and the Tigers do have quality wins over Mississippi State, Georgia, Vanderbilt, and they also beat the Washington Huskies on the road; which USC failed to do. The LSU Tigers are only behind Miami and Georgia Tech as the best 1 loss teams in the country, because their quality wins and strength of schedule doesn’t match up to these teams yet. LSU does match up or exceed the USC schedule and there are no doubts that the LSU Tigers are the 3rd best one loss team in the country.

Next team down is Oregon and they do play in the Pac10 with the USC Trojans. The Oregon Duckshave the same problems as USC does and the fact they don’t have any strong teams in the Pac 10. They must find better teams outside the Pac 10 to play in order for them to get a bid for a BCS bowl game. Their only loss was the first week of the season and was to a ranked Boise State team. Their 1 loss is much more impressive than the one USC sports and the Oregon Ducks belong higher in the top 25 standings than the USC Trojans, but they are just the 4thbest team in the country with 1 loss.

Penn Statehas only 1 loss this year, but with victories over Akron, Syracuse, Temple, Illinois, Eastern Illinois, and Minnesota they just haven’t played against anybody this year. Perhaps you could call Iowa a somebody, but the Nitty Lions couldn’t even beat them. Penn State is ranked too high in college football and adjustments need to be made here. Really from this point on it just gets too sloppy to talk about and there are a lot of 1 loss teams ranked too high in the top 25 college football polls.

You do have to give the nod to the ACC and the two teams they have with only 1 loss on the season. The Miami Hurricanes is the best 1 loss team in college football after Saturday’s games. The second team on the list is the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets based on their quality wins and then you would have to put the LSU Tigers 3rd on the list from the SEC. Based on the current top 10 teams in the country and some of those schools are still unbeaten like a Boise State team, you have to make room for these 3 one loss schools. All 3 of the best 1 loss teams should be in the top 10 rankings in college football and the USC Trojans is not one of them. Let’s get things in the proper order and hopefully the right information will get put into the BCS computers later today and we can see Miami, Georgia Tech, and LSU sporting top 10 positions in the country.

Vermont is one of the prettiest states in America. I have always heard that Colorado and Vermont was the two most beautiful states out of the 48 U.S. continental states. People that live in Vermont can get to know each other better by being online and meeting up in vermont chat rooms. I haven’t been taking too many trips these days; since my car is in need of so many repairs. I hate spending money on car repairs and instead of paying for small things when they go wrong, I usually end up paying for more serious damages to my car. I would rather spend money on car insurance compared to the money I spend on car repairs. I will have to start taking care of some these repairs or I won’t have a car at all. I need a new air filter and oil change would be a start. I will also have to get new belts for my car and a new car battery too. My car is just barely cranking right now and I know it needs a new battery. Unless my alternator has gone bad and then I will need a new one of them. I was hoping to win the lottery or get some huge sum of money coming in, so I could take care of all these car repairs at one time. It doesn’t look like that is going to happen and I will need to start knocking out some of these auto repairs I am going to need. I just hope my car can get me to these places I need to go for it to get repaired.

A lot of fishermen take fishing trips during the fall time of the year. I hear that between now and Thanksgiving is the best time to go deep sea fishing. I wish I had the time to travel to a nearby ocean shore and cast the rod out a few times. I have only went deep sea fishing once in my life; while on vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida. I caught about 7 or 8 fish and our whole trip lasted 4 hours in the Gulf of Mexico. It really wasn’t enough time to fish, because we spent about 90 minutes just traveling to and from our fishing spots.

I am a big fan of seafood restaurants and I always like to eat at a good seafood place when I do take a trip. I think Bishops in Panama City Beach, Florida is the best place I have ever been to. They have more than just seafood and everything they serve is really good. I’m not sure if they are still in business or not. It’s been a long time since I have been to Panama City Beach. I have taken two trips to Daytona Beach, Florida in the past 5 years. It’s been longer than that since I have went to Panama City.

I don’t eat everything on the seafood buffets, but a buffet is the best way to go. It allows you the chance to try a little bit of everything. You never know what the best tasting item is on the menu and buffets help us to figure that out. My favorite seafood dish is a nice piece of grilled fish. It has to be fresh and cooked to perfection. Tilapia is a great tasting fish and there are lots of restaurants that now feature it on their menus. I think mahi mahi is a little better than tilapia and I usually choose it first. If you order the fish, be sure to get it grilled and tell the waitress to bring you some slices of lemon. Squirting lemon juice on fresh, grilled fish is very tasty. I think one day I will just have to plan a traveling vacation and try out all the different seafood restaurants in a state like Florida. Just thinking about it now makes me hungry for a seafood vacation.

It seem just like an ordinary day for 3 fishermen who were planning an over night fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico. It can be a lot of fun to go deep sea fishing, but not sure I would want to at night. Being on a small boat in the Gulf of Mexico after the sun has went down sounds like a scary fishing trip to me. It would be really scary for the 3 fishermen that made their 1 night fishing trip; turn into an 8 day survival trip on the high seas in the Gulf of Mexico.

The 3 men were from Texas and their names are Tressel Hawkins, James Philips, and Curtis Hall that decided to take that fishing trip on Friday August 21st. I think all 3 men figured they would be spending Saturday night back in their homes with some fish in the freezer and a nice little tan or sunburn. That wasn’t the case when the boat started to take on water that night and soon it would cap-size and leave all 3 men clinging on for their lives. They made a really smart move when they saw that the boat was going to be useless to them and grabbed up some potato chips, crackers, bubble gum, and 3 gallons of fresh water.

I’m not sure the exact details or what was going through their minds, but I can guess what they were thinking. I’m sure when the sun came out on Saturday, they knew they would have to flag down a passing boat or get an airplane or helicopter to notice them from the air. The men did see oil rigs, boats, and even a helicopter from the Coast Guard, but nobody saw them. It must have been a terrible struggle for these 3 men and it would take 8 days before another boat would rescue them and bring help to their cap-sized boat in the Gulf of Mexico.

Little food and water makes any situation a bad one and being in the salty waters couldn’t have helped any. One man had a swollen leg due to the jelly fish that were stinging him. The days were filled with hot, sun rays beaming down and all 3 men suffered terrible sunburns from being exposed to the sun’s rays each day. I can’t imagine the fears they had at night when you couldn’t see nothing and the chances of a big shark swimming by and having you for a late night snack.

This story is really incredible and its amazing the 3 men survived for 8 days. Even the Coast Guard gave up hope of finding these 3 stranded fishermen alive. I don’t know if I truly trust the whole story right now and it does make you doubt the survival effort. It truly is amazing if these 3 men survived on the food and amount of time they said they were trapped in the ocean. I’m sure a full investigation will be done on this survival story and we will get more details about the things these men had to endure over these 8 days. It’s a “movie of the week” story, if it does turn out to be true. I will look forward to watching this one on TV; when someone decides to turn this great-ending story into a movie.

We drove through Tampa and got to see Tropicana Field where the Tampa Bay Devil Rays baseball team plays and I think the Tampa Bay Lightning (hockey team) plays there as well. You can even see the big pirate ship from the road; that is located at the football stadium where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play at on Sundays. It is a beautiful southern city and is very nice at night when it’s all lit up.
