Facebook and Twitter Helping Marketers

Online marketers have turned to social media networks and websites to help them with various online programs. If you have a money making program, affiliate program, or a website you seek more traffic for; then one of these websites like Twitter or Facebook may help you. I am just now beginning to view these sites as useful tools and trying to find ways on how they can help me.

Do you currently use Twitter to help with your online marketing strategies? I would love to hear your views and thoughts on a website like Twitter for marketing purposes. Twitter is one of the most talked about websites on TV these days. A huge group of people now make up the Twitter community. We often get to see stars using Twitter to make comments or suggest ideas to fans, other famous people, and some will even give political views from time to time. I am one of the few people that hasn’t incorporated Twitter, Facebook, or some of the other popular social networking websites into my marketing campaigns.

I have found some marketing techniques and strategies online that has worked well for me. I’m not in a hurry to change my routine, but understand that there are better ways to conduct business online. Instead of signing up for a broad marketing campaign at Twitter, I thought I might select one program and use it on my Twitter account. My business name online is “Online Promotions”, that’s the name I used to conduct business with advertisers and marketers who see help with their online advertising. I have made some money online, by helping others succeed in their online programs. I think it’s time I take a more direct approach to a specific program and see how far I could push 1 program instead of multiple online programs.

I love online marketing and I have made some great contacts and friends through my resources I use daily. A group or a team of people can get a lot more ground covered on the World Wide Web, if someone can lead them in one direction. People that want to succeed with making money online, should try to find a team or group of people that share the same ideas and goals online. Doing it by yourself is not going to create too many success stories. You stand a much better chance with making real money online, if you can find a team or group that you can join. Make sure you do your part to keep your online marketing group strong. Don’t rely on others to always lead you. Sometimes you have to become the leader and the newest member to a group can be a leader or the spark needed to get everyone as a whole moving forward.

I’m glad Facebook and Twitter offers tools to help online marketers. Advertising online is the way to do business in the 21st century. There is so many people that own computers these days and most of these people are connected to the Net. Learning how to attract these folks to your affiliate programs or websites is the trick to marketing on the computer.

Marketers should always be willing to adjust their daily routines to other avenues that present their self online. This is the stage I’m currently in right now. It won’t be easy for me to break off and go in a new direction, but I understand that more success could be achieved if I do use other methods to advertise online. If it’s broke don’t fix it? How do we know if it’s broke, if we don’t try new things. I’m excited to see if Twitter can help me online. I will be sure to report back and let everyone know how my new adventures in marketing is going. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way; when it comes to marketing a website or affiliate program online.

Finding Good Online Music

Joan Jett – Crimson & Clover
YouTube Preview Image

It seems to get harder each day to find good music online. Music that you can get for free. I know a lot of websites try to block free music and most of us have seen the changes that YouTube has done over the years. You use to be able to find any song and the artist that sung it over at You Tube. Then people like Metallica and Prince didn’t like to see people getting their music for free, so they started to taking actions to block it. I think it was the Metallica .vs.  Napster case in court that got the ball rolling for these music artists to have more power over their music rights.

I think the artists need to grow up and understand technology is helping us to make our lives easier. Being able to get free music online is a part of that modern technology and it’s not the online website’s fault. The social networking giants like MySpace and YouTube is a blessing for most of us to find good entertainment online. They are creations that need to continue to develop and evolve as we go forward. I don’t think placing bans and restrictions on these websites is the way to go.

Just think about the guy that came out with the blank cassette or bland CD that can record a song from the radio or another cassette or CD. This is a cheap way to get music for us that can’t afford to pay the asking prices in stores. This guy needs to be praised for his invention and it’s up to the artists to find new ways in which people buy their music. Trying to stop new technologies is not the way to go. I know the entertainers and music artists will disagree with me and the main reason why is this is taking money out of their pockets. If they could just put their self on the other side of the fence, they could see how modern technology is helping the people that isn’t rich. Our technology and laws can’t continue to be dictated by the rich people of this country. Their only desires is to get richer and they have no intentions or cares about the rest of us that are not on their income level. I want to see free music online and I want it to be good music. This doesn’t have to stop with music and we can go into other avenues of entertainment like the movie industry for instance. Let’s make things better for everyone and not just for the rich folks. We all need to have equal rights in this country and letting technology lead the way is the best move we can do!

Miss Virginia – New Miss America

Caressa Cameron was the lucky winner in Saturday night’s Miss America Beauty Pageant that had contestants from each U.S. State and some American Territories participated too. It takes a lot of luck to win one of these beauty pageants with so many contestants and most of them as deserving to win as the winner is. The new 2010 Miss America comes from the U.S. state of Virginia. I’m sure Caressa Cameron will do a fine job representing the people of Virginia and the USA, as she will now be in the spotlight for 1 year; until a new Miss America gets crowned in 2011.

Here are some of the other lovely ladies that came up just short as they were still on the stage when the announcement was made that Miss Virginia had won the 2010 Miss America Pageant.

California – Kristy Cavinder

Any thoughts on Miss California? I think she has a nice sweet look to her and could have easily been the 2010 Miss America winner. Kristy Cavinder from California has a great smile, pretty teeth to go along with that great smile, and a nice skin tone or color too. Not quite as dark as Caressa Cameron’s skin color. It looks like California did a good job with finding a worthy candidate to represent the Golden State and Kristy Cavinder did very well in the contest.

Tennessee – Stefanie Wittler

Can you say perfect? Well the Volunteer State of Tennessee did a fantastic job with their choice to represent them in the Miss America Pageant. I did not watch the event live on the TLC channel Saturday night, but why didn’t Miss Tennessee win the 2010 Miss America Beauty Pageant? Perhaps Stefanie Wittler did not look as good as this picture would suggest she does. I think she looks a lot better than the winner from Virginia; at least that is my opinion. She may have did poorly in other areas of the contest, that I am not aware of. I am simply going on looks and she appears to have the looks of an all American girl from the South. After seeing the contestants Miss Virginia, Miss California, and Miss Tennessee; my vote as of right now would have to be leaning toward Stefanie Wittler as the most deserving contestant from the 2010 Miss America competition.

Louisiana – Katherine Putnam

Next up is Katherine Putnam from the state of Louisiana. Now the New Orleans Saints beat the Minnesota Vikings the weekend before the Miss America Pageant to earn their spot as one of the two teams in the 2010 Super Bowl. It wouldn’t be fair to let Louisiana have an NFL team in the Super Bowl and let their beauty pageant representative win Miss America too, right? Well I seriously doubt the judges were thinking along those lines, but Ms. Putnam did not win Saturday’s contest. She was one of the last 5 women on the stage when the winner was announced, so she did do the state of Louisiana justice with her advancements in the beauty contest. She is a very lovely young lady and I’m sure she has been the most beautiful girl in the room a lot of times in her life. It just so happens that Saturday night was not one of those times and she does lack that little extra that makes her stand out. I can see why she didn’t win the Miss America crown.

Kentucky – Mallory Ervin

Well the last of the 5 contestants is Miss Kentucky, but by no means is she really last. I think I found my 2010 Miss America right here. I believe Mallory Ervin is the complete package and perhaps I’m a little bias with my opinion. No, I’m not from the state of Kentucky nor do I live there now. I am a resident of Georgia, but I am an online blogger. I see that Mallory and I both share the same passion for blogging. I am impressed with this 24 year old’s blogging skill and she writes a lot of information in her blogspot blog I was able to find online. You can check out Miss Kentucky Mallory Ervin’s blog for yourself and see all the information she has on it and the great pictures that she’s added too. I believe America needs a Miss America that is a blogger. There were probably several contestants that have their own blogs, but Mallory Ervin from Kentucky is a real blogger. I also like the fact she does a lot of things in her community and for the school children at her old elementary school. You can see all of this through her online blog. She also has a great smile, nice facial appearances, and everything else from the “looks” standpoint that would have made her a great Miss America. It’s too bad that Miss Kentucky did not win the 2010 Contest, but I’m sure this 24 year-old beauty will do just fine. Mallory, her friends & family, and everyone from the state of Kentucky she be very proud of her top 5 finish in the 2010 Miss America Beauty Pageant; which was won by a 22 year-old beauty from Virginia named Caressa Cameron. Congratulations to Miss Virginia and the other 4 states that I featured on my blog post for the 2010 Miss America Pageant that was seen by millions of viewers last Saturday night on The Learning Channel.

Vote Conan O’Brien for the Tonight Show Spot

Conan O’Brien on NBC & Jay Leno

Jay Leno is NOT must see TV! NBC tried to show Leno’s talents off in prime time and guess what? No one wanted to see it! Why on Earth would they like him better, later on in the night? NBC viewers have decided and they don’t want to see Jay Leno. Not sure what’s so hard for the NBC producers to understand when it comes to the Conan O’Brien vs Jay Leno battle. There really isn’t a battle, because more people want to see Conan than Leno; it’s as simple as that!

Conan O’Brien is a better choice for the Tonight Show than Jay Leno. Why this is even a debate is beyond me. NBC is leaning to replacing Conan for Jay Leno and this will be a big mistake. Advertisers and viewers are both keeping an eye on this one and NBC stands to lose a great deal if they make this move final. No one is going to tune-in to see Leno and the domino-effect will continue with other shows that currently air on NBC. This late night talk show controversy goes much further than the time frame being debated on right now. NBC is leaning the wrong way and if they don’t sway back to Conan O’Brien’s corner soon, it will be too late for them. An all out ban will begin for NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, and their parent company GE (General Electric). No more NBC programs period for those of you supporting Conan O’Brien. We will not buy any more GE products either. I believe Whirlpool is a better brand anyways and other better choices than the products GE produce. If you think the GE stock has been lagging over the last few years, that lag will seem nice, when a lag becomes a decline. If you own GE stock now, you may want to go ahead and sell it. Be sure to get the vote out for Conan O’Brien and for him to remain as the host of the Tonight Show on NBC.

The Simpsons Turn 20

The Simpsons

It was a special night on Sunday for Homer, Bart, and the rest of the gang we know as the Simpsons. On Sunday January 10th; it marked the 20th anniversary of the Simpsons being on television. They weren’t always a prime time show on the weekends and they got their start on the Tracey Ulman Show. Through a lot of hard work and dedication the Simpsons are still around 20 years later and they are bigger than ever now.

The Simpsons has now made history and with each new episode they will continue to make history. The Simpsons is the longest running TV show that has ever been produced for television. Since the characters are not aging any and continue to be the same age, we could see the Simpsons set new numbers that no TV program will ever catch.

In celebration of their 20th anniversary last night, they did a special show that was dubbed the Simpsons on Ice and was in 3D. For those of you that got a chance to see last night’s special, probably got a big kick out of this. The Simpsons continue to be a popular family in their town of Springfield, but they are just as popular in other American towns too. It’s not just the United States that gets to watch this animated series and the Simpsons can be seen in many other countries. I won’t be surprised to see the Simpsons do another 20 years as their fame and popularity continues to grow around the globe. Congratulations to the Simpsons for a wonderful 20 years and I am glad that I had the chance to share most of those 20 years with them! Doh!

The Daisy Duke of Advertising

Daisy Duke

It doesn’t always have to be the best thing or even the main thing, it’s all about creating that image in our mind or that lasting memory that we won’t forget soon. These are some tips marketers should apply when they use generated media sources to promote their products or services online. Do you remember Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazard? Of coarse you do and no one has forgotten who she was. We remember who Daisy Duke was, but she was never the main focus on the TV show. It was the cousins running around on dirt roads and usually trying to avoid the police was the main focus of the popular 80’s television show called The Dukes of Hazard.

Now if people using social networking sites or media sites that Internet users create the material on and can create your own Daisy Duke; then you too can have those lasting memories about an online interest of yours. I’m not sure what your Daisy Duke could be and it would depend on what types of things you’re promoting online. Give it some serious thought and create that “Daisy Duke” effect and you may find positive online results weeks or even months down the road, because you are really creating long term memories that computer users won’t forget anytime soon.

Social Networking Can Provide More Traffic

Do you belong to any social networking websites? Have you ever tried to post a video on YouTube or tweet a message on Twitter? You can use social networking websites to help you with online contacts and these contacts can provide more traffic to a website that you need more visitors to each day. Also, some of the popular user generated sites are proving to be a great source of traffic. There are some extra hits you can get from Facebook, Twitter, or my favorite user generated website You Tube; if you can find ways to link them to your own personal website. Here is an example of someone posting a free video at You Tube with advice on extra traffic and see how this person uses their video message to draw in extra traffic to his website.

YouTube Preview Image

Now your video doesn’t have to be as advanced as this You Tube user has decided to do. They did a great job with their video and some people have the brains to produce nice videos like these online. If you are not the sharpest tool in the shed and have computer skills like I do; then you can still use these user generated sites to help link up with extra online traffic.

If you don’t have the skills to put up a video at You Tube or know how to upload a picture at Facebook; then try using the social media networks that are available online. You can “Google” for information or use the search engines to help you find “social networking websites”. When you join a social networking website, take the time to read up and navigate thoroughly around the site, so you can get the most benefits possible. A good starting point when you first join is to add in all your personal information. Make sure you enter a first and last name, a general location on where you’re living, and add as many website URL’s as you can to your account/profile. It really works best when you can upload a picture of yourself to social networking website, so the other members at this site can see what you look like and who they are talking to. You will want to add as many friends as possible and be sure to accept all the people that want you as contacts too. You will find some of these people will send you lots of messages that will be almost like SPAM, but that is only a slight downside to the possibilities you can gain on finding new friends or online contacts that shares your same interests. Building and establishing these contacts on each social networking website you join will prove fruitful down the road.

Just don’t expect miracles on your first day or even first week to a new social networking website. It takes time to meet people online and establish some sort of friendship or bond that you can both benefit from later. The key is exposing yourself and your website, so every member at each social networking website has the ability of seeing who you are and what types of websites you use or promote.

Social networking websites can provide you with more traffic and contacts if you have patience and allow them to work their magic. The user generated media websites like MySpace and You Tube has huge upsides and benefits. If you’re not savvy enough online with your computer skills to use a website like You Tube; then the social networking sites are a great alternative you can use; while you try to find ways to use Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, and all the others for driving more traffic to your websites.

It doesn’t matter what you do or what your online goals may be; your gonna need that traffic! Free traffic exchanges and social networking sites that cost no money to join is the first places you want to join. You don’t have to spend money to get your feet wet with some extra online traffic. It just takes time and finding the right websites that work best for you. Keep your budget on zero dollars starting off, because it’s your TRAFFIC EMPIRE that will lead you to where you’re wanting to go. That EMPIRE doesn’t cost a thing to start building and you can always use money for your perks; once you have that TRAFFIC EMPIRE established. I wish ya lots of luck with your online promotions and be sure to come back here and let me know which social networking websites you’re using and which ones are providing the best results for you. I will share some of my social networking sites later on and give ya some tips on how to get the most use out of them.

FTC Cracking Down on Bloggers

Breaking News! Breaking News! The FTC or Federal Trade Commission is stepping up and enforcing laws that are almost 30 years old. You would have thought after a year or two, they would have made this move, right? Well the Internet wasn’t around in the 1980’s, so they had to catch up with some things that were going on in the last decade. They now want bloggers or anyone who endorses a product or service that they took money to comment on their blogs to announce it.

It’s really crazy that the FTC would waste their time this way and I think most people use their own judgements in life and don’t take the advice of bloggers too often. Now the beef industry was in an uproar when Oprah Winfrey told people not to eat beef; due to the mad cow scares that were occurring in the news. She had to make her trips to court and fight off the beef industry. Oprah has a lot of people that follow her and she does have some power in our society. I think the FTC should mind their own business and let Oprah Winfrey and bloggers say whatever they want.

We do have a thing called “Free Speech” in this country and we should have the right to say what we want; even if it doesn mean we are saying something because someone else is paying us money to. Hey, it’s their money, let the advertisers spend it how they see best fit. Let the bloggers take it when they see it works for them, and let the people who read blogs make up their own mind if they are being mislead or not. I think the majority of us can handle a few blog posts that recommend us doing or buying a certain product or service.

A blog is like an online diary. People who have blogs are called bloggers. These bloggers should have the freedom to express their self in any fashion they want. Sure, some bloggers will have more power than other bloggers and some talk show hosts will have more power than other talk show hosts. It’s just the way the world is and no way to create a level playing field for everyone. We can encourage bloggers to use their blogs for good purposes and hope they will make the world better in some little way. When it comes down to it, there is no way to police or enforce these new FTC rules for bloggers. I fully support the freedom of speech offline and online and I support bloggers that want to take paid advertisements or the ones that just blog for free each day.

Pizza Making and Eating Records

I use to deliver pizza and it’s one of the best jobs I ever had. I like to see pizza stories like this one and I can relate to them. I think everyone loves pizza and it’s always a welcome sight to see the pizza delivery man show up. If you can make or eat pizza in record times, check out this video and see if you can beat these records.

Pizza Eating and Making Records

YouTube Preview Image

Wow! That’s fast!

I know watching this video makes me hungry. I may have to go for some pizza tonight. I like the guy that can eat 17 slices in 5 minutes. There is no way I could eat that many in such a short time. I don’t think I could eat 17 slices of pizza in a hour. 17 slices of pizza is a lot of food and my stomach couldn’t take that much food at one time. It does seem the guy from CBS made an error when he does start talking about the guy that eats pizza so fast. He said 22 pizzas and he meant 22 slices. No way someone could eat 22 pizzas in 10 minutes.

The guy from Dominos made pizzas fast and I can tell this from experience. Before you pizza owners go trying to offer this guy a job and stealing him from Dominos, keep a few things in mind. The guy is not shown tossing his own pizza dough. The pizza dough is the toughest thing about making a pizza. At Dominos Pizza they come in small round clumps and it takes a little time to make them in the pizza shape for adding to the oven. It can take a couple of minutes to beat out the dough or in this guy’s case, he could probably do it in about 20 to 30 seconds. Another thing that probably caught the eyes of pizza owners or people that have worked in a job making pizzas is this guy wasted a lot of cheese. Cheese is the most expensive item Dominos buys or any other pizza place. You can get all the toppings and dough you want for a far cheaper price than the cheese. Since cheese is so expensive for pizza owners you definitely don’t want to waste any of it. This guy making the pizzas so fast wasted a good bit of cheese that fell to the sides or on the ground. I actually think I could go faster or match the time this guy did by just adding sauce and 1 topping to the pizzas he made.

Favorite YouTube Videos

I’m trying to find some of the best videos YouTube has to offer. If you have seen one recently that you thought was cool or made you laugh; please post a reply with the link to this blog post. I would like to try and gather the top videos from YouTube and perhaps blog about them. Instead of going there and searching through all the videos located at You Tube, I figure I would ask my readers for help.

If you seen a video that you just can’t stop thinking about or one that you sent to a friend, please let me know what video that is and let me have a look. I would love to see all sorts of videos that made you laugh, grabbed your attention, or one that you was surprised to see at YouTube. If you have more than 1 great video that you have seen there; then feel free to post several links to the videos you like the best. I look forward to seeing all the cool videos that exist online and at Youtube.

Facebook Fever!

happyslip

It seems everyone is following someone on Twitter these days or uploading a new picture to Facebook. User generated content has taken its own personality on the World Wide Web and created fame for certain average individuals. I guess it’s a lot like American Idol and all the other reality shows on television being so popular; that the reality websites are following the path created by TV’s success with real people. Here is a great video I found at YouTube that explains the popular website Facebook.

Facebook Fever!
YouTube Preview Image

A great video that was uploaded by user HappySlip. I like the way she explains Facebook and puts a positive and energetic buzz on the popular website. HappySlip is using YouTube as a place to create Vlogs (a video blog) and promoting her Facebook page too. Other people can do the same and use these reality type websites to gain extra exposure for their self online. People that rely on their computers to do business online can certainly take a marketing approach with websites like YouTube, MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook. The Facebook fever is certainly generating buzz for everyone that is a member there. I haven’t created a Facebook account yet, but I do think it would be wise to do so. I think it would give me another avenue to attract attention and traffic to my blogs.

If you have a Facebook account and would like to share your page, feel free to reply to this blog post and I will take a look at it. If you would like to see HappySlip at Facebook or others; feel free to do a search for “Facebook” on any search engine and they should be several results to point you in the right direction.

Politics on YouTube

We do live in modern times and the politicians are obviously aware of places like MySpace and You Tube for user generated videos. They didn’t waste any time creating their own political videos at places like YouTube, so they could try and pick up some extra votes. I’m sure all the advisors to the men and women that were running for political offices encouraged them to advertise online with videos. I would say the majority of people that visit these popular places where you can upload videos are not even old enough to vote. Knowing that the majority of your target audience is under age or too young to vote; does it really make sense to campaign at You Tube?

I know there is no such thing as bad exposure or bad advertising, but the public should have reacted more about political videos online. Targeting the kids for votes and trying to influence them, seems a bit low, even for a politician seeking office. The user generated media got use for the small, local elections around the country and all the way up to the presidential elections; while no one didn’t seem to have a problem with the political videos online, unless the media found one that was really hitting below the belt. I think the videos appearing where the majority of users are in their teens and preteens weren’t the smartest way to campaign. If I was running for office I would seek to target a much older audience or at least an audience that was old enough to vote. Hopefully some of these companies and webmasters that run these popular places for uploading videos will not allow political videos from candidates in the future. I’m sure we will have the amateurs still posting ones to make fun or insult people running for political spots, but the official candidates shouldn’t be allowed to campaign at places like YouTube and My Space.

Homer Simpson Voting for Obama

We didn’t hear too much about faulty voting places in the 2008 presidential elections. I guess the margin of victory for Obama was too great to cause too many concerns. They were a few issues that got brought up on election day, but they were pretty wide-spread for the most part. This wasn’t true for Homer Simpson and he had a problem with the voting system.

I believe this could only happen to Homer from the Simpsons. We don’t really have voting booths that do this; do we?

Promoting Online with Videos

Internet marketers are quickly learning that videos are a great way to advertise and promote online. Popular video sites like MySpace and YouTube are getting new members daily that are actually internet marketers. Videos are a great way to demonstrate your product or service, which gives online users a chance to see a visual on how it works and why it may benefit them. We are still in the early stages of user generated media to promote things online, so the people now are paving the way for internet marketers of tomorrow.

Have you ever tried to market something with videos online before? If so, please be sure to let me know the results and if you were happy with them or not. It’s free to upload these videos online at most places, so there really isn’t anything a marketer loses; other than the time it took to make the video. If an internet marketer goes by a webcam for advertising purposes only, I’m sure they will want to see a return on their investment. Many blogs will support these online videos and internet marketers can use them to help promote their videos on the World Wide Web. It’s not a bad idea to hire a dozen or more bloggers to help get your video seen by as many people as possible. The more your video gets watched is the more times you have of attracting a new customer to your business or interests that you’re promoting. I think we will see more advanced videos in the future and now is a good time for “regular people” to create videos for marketing purposes. Please feel free to share your videos here that you have produced for promotional purposes.

Best Sources for Videos Online

http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=45036696

We have seen a huge increase in user generated media on the internet today. The television shows that have made reality tv shows popular is the same thing driving more people to upload videos online. Instead of seeing someone famous and that we all know, we now can watch the neighbor down the street dancing, singing, or just watching one of their home movies. It’s interesting to sit back and see some of the things that people upload these days online. I am amazed at some of the things that people don’t care to show the world, but it can be very entertaining as well. The most popular of all user generated media comes from YouTube. They are the ones that perfected the use of videos online and so many others have followed in their footsteps. The above video is from MySpace and most videos you see online today will come from YouTube or MySpace. I’m sure most of you have seen a YouTube video before, so I will show you some examples of other sources available for user generated media.

Does any of the videos above stick out? Which video do you like the best? Some of these videos you can edit and have the screen size smaller or larger and you can also touch some of them up and have the video playing as soon as someone visits your page. As you can see I chose Friday the 13th as a theme for my video samples. The new movie is coming out February 13th; which is on a Friday. I’m sure Jason will be just as popular as ever, much like these user generated videos that get millions of views daily. I used Hollywood footage for most of these example videos, but you can see a couple that isn’t Hollywood and the amateur touch on them.

I really think YouTube has done a wonderful job at creating a platform for others to follow that make these videos easy to watch. You can play these videos from my blog at their normal size or you can play the videos in full screen mode. I usually keep the video picture small while I am searching for a video, but once I do find the video I want to see, I will watch it full screen and it’s just like watching television.

The videos have been popular with the youth and teens in school for a variety of things. The adults love them just as much too and a lot of good information can be found on user generated videos. Finding information online has always required reading and usually lots of it. Now people that don’t like to read so much, can just watch videos online to see the information or entertainment they were looking for.

I think all of the above video companies have a great product. The library of videos is limited with some of these video places and some of them will use videos from YouTube on their sites. There really is no limits to the way people can use videos online to relay or show information to one another. I see young kids having their own web shows or V Logs, hunters can watch big deer being shot from tv shows or actual home footage that people have and these videos are a great source for music and seeing those old videos from the 80’s. Instead of reading about a recipe online, go watch a Youtube or My Space video on someone actually preparing a recipe. User generated media is going to make all of our lives easier and certainly more entertaining. What type of videos do you like watching the most? Where do you go to watch most of the videos you see playing online?

Daily Motion, Vimeo, Veoh, Viddler, Metacafe, Blip.tv, and Spike are some new places you can select for viewing videos online. You may find one or two of these video companies is better than MySpace or YouTube. Enjoy watching your videos on the computer and this gives us all something to do; while we wait for the New Jason Movie to hit theaters on Friday the 13th in Februray!
