It seems everyone is following someone on Twitter these days or uploading a new picture to Facebook. User generated content has taken its own personality on the World Wide Web and created fame for certain average individuals. I guess it’s a lot like American Idol and all the other reality shows on television being so popular; that the reality websites are following the path created by TV’s success with real people. Here is a great video I found at YouTube that explains the popular website Facebook.

Facebook Fever!

A great video that was uploaded by user HappySlip. I like the way she explains Facebook and puts a positive and energetic buzz on the popular website. HappySlip is using YouTube as a place to create Vlogs (a video blog) and promoting her Facebook page too. Other people can do the same and use these reality type websites to gain extra exposure for their self online. People that rely on their computers to do business online can certainly take a marketing approach with websites like YouTube, MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook. The Facebook fever is certainly generating buzz for everyone that is a member there. I haven’t created a Facebook account yet, but I do think it would be wise to do so. I think it would give me another avenue to attract attention and traffic to my blogs.
