My grandfather is from the old school. When he turns on the television, he will only watch something that’s in black and white. What I find so amazing about this is that at first I’m always bummed, but as the movie continues, I always find myself enjoying it more and more. I especially remember one movie about a kid who was lost in a snowstorm and had to figure out a way to survive. Most people would consider the movie a little slow, but I found it to be intriguing. It made you think because you were constantly trying to figure out what he was thinking and why he was doing the things he was doing.

My grandfather is a huge movie fan, but as stated above, only if they’re old. He got me into these old black and white movies, and I got him into using a computer. Okay, he doesn’t really use a computer like most people. I just taught him to stay in touch with me by using hughes internet satellite. At first he was frustrated by it, but now that we can communicate almost daily about movies and other things going on, he absolutely loves it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has set up his computer in front of the television so he can watch old movies and write to other people on satellite internet oklahoma at the same time.
