Mark Shurtleff for U.S. Senate
Have you seen the mark shurtleff campaign? Mark Shurtleff is a man running for a seat on the United States Senate. After I have just wrote a blog post on the homeless people in America (previous blog post); I wonder what his take would be on the homeless population that currently makes up a percentage of our country’s population? If there is anyone associated with his campaign or Mr. Shurtleff himself is reading this blog post; then I would like to know where your official stance is on the homeless people living in the USA today.
I have a feeling I could learn a wealth of knowledge from someone like Mark Shurtleff; based on the things he is focused on right now for his political campaigns. He does seem to have his hands on the pulse of America right now with some of the issues he is tackling with his political platform. According to his website online, he is focused on stopping the excessive spending the government is doing right now, suspending the earmarks that take place in Washington where politicians trade favor for favors, and ending our pattern of bailouts in this country.
Two very controversial subjects right now is the abortion issues and gay marriages. Some politicians won’t pick a side on these highly debated issues, but that’s not the case with Mark Shurtleff. He is against abortion; unless it pertains to an extreme case like rape, incest, or an health issue for the mother. He is also in favor of traditional marriages and wants to defend the rights of the churches. It doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree with Mark Shurtleff on these issues; the fact that he is willing to make a stand and say what he believes in, does earn some credit with me. I wish more politicians would make their stances clearer on which side of the fence they stand on these tough issues.
If you have concerns about our borders after 9/11; then you will be happy to know that Mark Shurtleff is for tightening up our borders. If you want things to be harder on illegal aliens or terrorists entering this country, you will want to vote for Mark Shurtleff for U.S. Senate.
