It’s time the fans in Atlanta and the rest of the country need to start filling out their MLB All Star Ballots. There is a nice little story brewing in the National League outfield for this year’s 2010 All Star Game in California. A very young rookie for the Atlanta Braves is putting on a show and destroying the National League pitchers he has faced so far. His name is Jason Heyward or as they say in the Atl “Say Hey Kid“. No matter what you want to call him, Jason Heyward is quietly climbing the ladder in the NL voting for outfielders. He is currently ranked in the 2nd position and he’s not too far away from the top overall spot in the NL outfield voting. It would be nice to see Jason Heyward get voted-in to the 2010 All Star Game. I’m sure he would put on a show and represent the National League very well in Anaheim this year.

You can help Jason get to the All Star Game, if you will place a vote for him on the National League ballot. You can select up to 3 outfielders for the National League and it would be nice to mark Heyward for the Braves as one of your choices. He’s a great guy and swings a big bat. I think he would do well in the Home Run Derby too! Fans can vote for the MLB players they would like to see in the Home Run Derby. Heyward’s name did not get placed on the home run ballots, but there is a write-in option on the ballot. If you can take the time to write Jason’s name in on the Home Run Derby, he would probably get some strong consideration as one of the sluggers to represent the National League in the Derby this year.

There’s no secrets on why the Atlanta Braves are currently in first place in the NL East. They have been led by the big swings of Heyward’s bat and he has the whole team and the whole city of Atlanta buzzing about the talent he has and at such a young age. If you would like to see this kid play in a MLB game that will be made up of the best of the best; then please vote Jason Heyward of the Atlanta Braves to this year’s 2010 All Star Game; which will take place in early July. You can vote more than once for the players you would like to see in the All Star Game and the Century 21 Homerun Derby and it would be nice for a few of your votes to go Jason’s way.
