Nissan Quest or a Ford Escape can be the leaders in new gas efficiency.

I love Jeeps and have owned two Wranglers in the past. Anyone who has ever owned a Jeep knows how versatile they are for letting the top down or going off road. I do like the Jeep Compass too and I think these will be better on gas than some of the older Wranglers were. Jeeps are not gas guzzlers, but newer models like the Compass usually will save you more money on gas costs; than the older Jeeps or older cars in general.

What type of vehicle do you recommend for saving money at the gas pumps? Please let me know about any suggestions you have for buying a new car that gets great gas mileage. Is a Honda s2000 good on gas? Does an automaker like Honda have a better choice available? Breaking down each car company is a good idea and can save you a lot of money in the long run.
