Books like Moby Dick and The Catcher in the Rye I have never read. I know these are classics and a lot of people has read them over the years. The guy that shot John Lenon up in New York in the 1980′s, was reading The Catcher in the Rye. This guy was a mental case, but I would still like to read that book, to try and see what message he was actually getting from the Catcher and the Rye. The author of this famous book was J.D. Salinger and he just recently passed away. After learning about his death, it has made me want to read this book even more now. So that’s one of the classic books I will need to go to the library and check out one day. I believe I would like to read this book when a big rain storm comes through my area in North Georgia. Reading books while rain is falling outside, seems to be the perfect time to read a good book. After seeing how many classics and good recommendations is out there right now, I know I will need years to read the majority of classic stories that have been told over the years. I’m sure you see some books up above you know and have read before. There are probably some that sparked your interest and now you have new books to add to your “must read” list. I would like to read all of these books and see why each one has created buzz or has a fan base. If I plan to finish my book list, I better start now. This is going to take me years to complete. I hope you found some books that you will want to read too. Many of these books can be bought in used condition and for a really cheap price. Be sure to let me know which books you plan to read first and which ones you already read and thought it was really good.

eBooks is just a an easier way to say electronic books. A book is something you have on a shelf at home or at your local library. An ebook is a book you find online and it’s not like the books in the bookcase at home. Generally an ebook is a shorter write-up on a topic that is too long for a blog post, but too short for a real book. You can read entire ebooks in one day and this has made them popular for people on the computer. If you have an idea, a suggestion, or a theory on a specific topic; then you could write an ebook too. It’s not hard to be an author in the world of ebooks and this has led to a ton of new ebooks that come out each week. It’s been hard to keep up with all the new ones that come out, so hopefully this search engine that is in PDF format (for most of it’s material) will help us sort through all the ebooks that we want to read.

An ebook is typically something good for a blogger. A blogger that has a lot to say, but it’s just too much information for a blog post, could use an ebook as a way to get all the information out. Once an ebook is well-written and someone think others would have an interest in reading it or could use the information it contains. Could try selling it across the World Wide Web.

It’s funny how ebooks have taken over the regular book industry. A big reason behind this is the quick cash an ebook author can make. Most authors can bring in 50 to 200 dollars. One that took a little more time with their work could see a 500 or 600 dollar payout in the first couple of months. I don’t think making money from ebooks will be enough cash for people to quit their jobs, but could be a nice secondary income for some.

I think there are a lot of good online programs that people can make money from that may not have good writing skills. You can use your search engines to gather up a lot of this good information on how to make money online. If you do have some good information that you would like to get out there, I would suggest trying a blog first. A blog is an excellent way to convey your message; while interacting with your readers on various topics. Your readers can point out errors in your work or give you new ideas and suggestions to help make your writings better. Starting a blog first and doing a series of blog posts on a certain topic is a good starting point for anyone that wants to start their own ebooks.

I wish everyone luck that tries to get an ebook out. I hope you make lots of money and everyone can profit a little, if they find ways to use the free tools that are available to all of us online. I prefer working with the free tools first before paying for services that might be a touch better in certain circumstances. Don’t forget that plays can be a good starting point for any ebook and then converting the blog to help you promote your new ebook can be a good way to start earning some money for your writing skills.

I don’t go to yard sales with a certain thing in mind to buy. I do try to find collectible things that are old and may increase in value over time. These are the types of items I search for most. When I do see something I want to get, I don’t just pay the price on the tag or the first one quoted to me. I do like to haggle a little at the yard sales and buy things for the lowest prices possible. I’m not sure if this is polite or not and it would be nice to have an ebook giving tips on haggling and other advices at yard sales. Only advice I know to give is offer a lower price than what’s on the tag and visit the yard sales on Sunday for the best deals. You may just find 1 yard sale that will give you everything for 1 low price and this is certainly a time for talking down the price!

You may find this to be an interesting read if you’re a hardcore blogger or just really want to make an effort to learn more about the world of blogging. This would be a interesting read for bloggers and I think you can pick up a few tips by reading and learning what others have to say.

Blog Profits BluePrint is another eBook that bloggers could benefit from. If you’re a blogger trying to earn a little money from your time and efforts blogging, you will want to check out this eBook. Many bloggers earn a nice little income from their blogs each month. They are a variety of ways to monetize your blog and if your blog has a lot of traffic each day, you can turn that traffic into money. Adding ads to your blog for people to click can be a good place for most bloggers to start at, but you don’t want to over-do it. You can also find about a dozen blogging companies online that will accept your blog into their network and they can help connect you with advertisers. You may just want to find your own advertisers and email them with prices for links or posts with links on your blog. Another good source of information that is available to bloggers seeking out information about blogging. I think this is a solid read for those dedicated bloggers out there. Some bloggers spend hours and hours each day making their blog look as good as possible and they search out the best ways to do this. The content or information on your blog is always going to carry more weight than design, but an  attractive design can lure more readers to your blog and keeping your readers there as long as possible is great for search engine rankings. They do track how long visitors stay on your blog and you get more credit for a longer stay than someone just passing by or accidently clicking on your blog. This eBook is great to help new people learn how to set up and run a blog. I think people just starting to blog will find this eBook very helpful.

Make Money Online with John Chow dot Com E-Book is my next recommendation for bloggers seeking eBooks. This is another eBook geared to the money side of things. Money is very important to us all, so I think we want all the help we can get; when it comes to making more money. John Chow is a very well-known blogger and his name gets mentioned a lot in the blogging circles. I would like to have fame like his some day, but I’m not sure if I have the wisdom that John Chow posses. You can click on the link above and it will lead you to his blog posting on this eBook. There are 270+ replies to this blog post, so he has generated some buzz with this eBook. At the bottom of the post on his blog, you can click that link to read his online eBook that he has created. I’m sure beginner and expert bloggers that seek to earn income from their blogs will pick up some good advice from Mr. Chow. Earning money with your blog isn’t that hard to do and if someone like me can do it; then you know it has to be easy. You don’t have to be an expert on the computer or have a lot of programming skills. I wouldn’t be blogging today if that was the case. Who’s There is a eBook that bloggers can obtain some more valuable information from and I think you may find that Seth offers some valuable knowledge.

Blogging is something that anyone can do and there are no boundaries to what you can achieve with your blog. Men and women, adults and kids, and people living all over the world have blogs these days. It’s up to them to decide on what they want to do with their blogs. If you want to be a successful blogger online, try to learn a little something from each one of these eBooks and then put your own knowledge and touch on your blog and I’m sure you will be proud of the finish product. Search for other blogging eBooks online and see if you can find others that will help you create a better blog.

So, it’s your first time on the Internet and you’d like some information on “cars”. Where do you go? There are so many search engines and directories, which one do you start with?… Which one is best? Which of the many search engines really matter?

Well, the best search engines are usually the most popular and most used ones. This will be true for both the Web site owner as well as the Web searcher/consumer.

Here’s the reason: More often than not, the well-known/popular search engines tend to promote themselves very well and have strong relations and strategic alliances with other Internet powers (AOL and Netscape immediately come to mind). This alone will bring in lots of traffic, especially when compared to the lesser-known search engines.

If you are a Web site owner and your site gets listed high with one these well-known search engines, you’re guaranteed a ton of traffic to your site (a good thing, especially since it didn’t cost you any money!).

For the searcher/consumer, a well-known (hence, very wealthy and commercially backed) search engine will generally give more dependable and accurate results. These search engines will work faster, load quicker and are more likely to be well-maintained and upgraded regularly to keep up with the rapid growth of the Net!

Before getting into the specifics of each search engine, let’s first define the differences between the two primary types of search “services”.

Search Engines

Search engines use robots called “spiders” to index (categorize) your Web site. You submit your Web site and/or page to a particular search engine and the “spider” will index your submission.

Here’s how it works: A spider (which is also called a “crawler”) visits your Web site, reads your page… and then follows links to other pages within your site. This is what is meant when someone says your site has been “spidered” or “crawled”. The spider will also return to your site on a timed and regular basis (say once every couple months) to look for any new changes.

Once the spider has all your information, it goes back home to the search engine where it will begin to “index” what it has found. Most of the time, it can take a while for new pages (or changes that the spider finds) to be added to the index. Thus, your Web page may have been “spidered”, but not yet “indexed”!

Until your site has been indexed (added to the index/search engine listing), you are NOT yet available for search (you don’t exist yet as far as consumers are concerned).

Now, some promotional “gurus” say that you don’t have to actually “submit” your Web site/pages to these “deep” search engines because in theory, these robots are “spidering” new Web sites everyday and supposedly they will find and index your site (eventually).

But the reality is that unless you have links from other sites leading to yours, OR you have registered your site with one of these search engines, your Web site will NOT be indexed – hence, you will never exist!

[I'll explain this in more detail later, but make sure that you submit all of your pages to the search engines. Don't wait for them to spider you!]

Directories

Directories will NOT list your Web site and will never become aware of your existence unless you register with them. More often than not, they will only register your home page and not your sub-pages.

The main difference between directories and search engines is that directories will “categorize” Web sites. Hence, if your Web site has to do with cars, you will be indexed under the category of “automobiles” or “cars” or some other relevant topic.

This difference alone will usually make directories a more “relevant” search engine. Examples of some of the more popular directories are:

• Yahoo! (the most popular of the bunch)
