One area that has caught our attention is a location known as the Grand Strand. I’m sure the locals know the place I am referring to and the travelers that go to Myrtle Beach every year, are also probably aware of the real estate that makes up the Grand Strand region of Myrtle Beach. There is some very popular places located on these sandy beaches and it looks like the perfect travel destination for me and my crew. I can already picture us now, on those beautiful Carolina beaches, with the sea breezes whipping through our hair, as we enjoy some of the best coastal lines in the country. You won’t find many; if any beachfront property that is as beautiful as the ones Myrtle Beach has to offer. The Beach Resorts Myrtle Beach better get ready, because they are going to have some wild vacationers hitting their Grand Strand area in late spring of 2010!

No matter how much fun in the sun we have at those classy resorts in Myrtle Beach, we still plan to get in a round of golf each day we are there. I normally get sunburned pretty bad on these beach/golf trips, so not sure my last day will be swinging the golf club in that hot South Carolina sun. I will definitely get a chance to play 3 eighteen hole golf courses and possibly a 4th one; if I don’t forget to reapply my sunblock. I am all ears for suggestions on the best golf courses in Myrtle Beach to stroke at this spring. We would like to find the closest golf courses to the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, but could travel a small distance if we find one worth traveling for. Please assist my buddies and I in finding the best 3 or 4 golf courses Myrtle Beach has to offer. I know it’s hard to narrow it down that much with so many great places to play golf. Just give it your best shot and feel free to list 10 to 15 golf courses and we can do our own elimination process. Thanks in advance and look forward to reading the suggestions!

I know most people don’t usually plan a trip to just eat in restaurants and try the local flavors on the menu. For those that live close to Myrtle Beach; where driving is less than 1 day away, I think it would be worth it. Even if you plan a short trip like a weekend getaway to Myrtle Beach, I think you would get your money’s worth. After you visit for a day or just 1 weekend, you will quickly learn that there is just too much to do in this amount of time and will want to plan a return visit to Myrtle Beach. Be sure you bring your appetite, because you will have several good seafood restaurants to choose from. Not only are these restaurants loaded with good seafood, but you can bet that it is some of the freshest seafood you will ever eat. These restaurants will typically hire the local fishermen in the area to go out and catch their fresh seafood for their daily menu. When you sit down to order a nice seafood dinner in a restaurant in South Carolina; you might just be eating fish or other seafood items that were caught that morning. Most people have never ate seafood this fresh and it does make a big difference!
