I have a few friends that want to travel down to Mexico. I would like to join them and visit another country. I think it would be cool to see what life is like in Mexico. I hear the U.S. dollar is worth more down there and going shopping would be fun to do. It would be like everything is on sale if you went to Mexico from the United States.

I wouldn’t want to do any crimes down there though. The Mexican jails have a notorious reputation of being cruel. I have never heard any direct stories about this, but we see this a lot in the Hollywood movies and it’s something most people believe in America. I guess I would have to actually serve time there to make a proper judgment on that, but I would be on my best behavior if I went to Mexico.

Have you ever been or live in Mexico? Please let me know your thoughts on this country and would you recommend a trip there? Also, if you know someone personally that has spent time in a Mexican jail, be sure to relay those stories too!
