The Proper Way to Hang Toilet Paper
Ok, you’re in the bathroom and the last piece or sheet of toilet paper has been used. Do you know how to correctly fix this situation? A lot of people don’t and the next steps they make in these critical minutes, could mean a lot of unhappy users for the next roll of toilet paper, they will have to roll off.
Obviously once the toilet paper is gone, the first thing you need to do, is unhook the roller and take off the cardboard tubing that was left from the last roll of toilet paper. The next step is to grab a new roll of toilet paper and place it on the roller. Once you have done that, you need to put it back together and this is the step a lot of people will do wrong. It’s the most critical step in toilet paper replacement!
If you look at the picture to the side and see the toilet paper coming over the top, then this is the correct way to do it! This is proper toilet paper and someone did a fantastic job on putting this roll of toilet paper on. I would be so happy to use the restroom in this picture and I would be grinning from ear to ear; when it was time for me to reach over and unravel some of that beautiful over the top toilet paper.
However, when it comes to replacing toilet paper, not all stories have a happy and pleasant ending. For those people that say life is unfair, I believe them and one good reason why, is because some toilet paper doesn’t get replaced properly. It’s hard to believe 100 years ago we were using outhouses and now most of us have indoor plumbing in our homes. Even though we have came so far in the last 100 years, there is still some people that don’t know how to replace toilet paper properly.
We are now living in the 21st century and our education in the bathrooms are still not up to speed with the other Big Toilet Nations. I believe even some 3rd Toilet Nations are passing us in the bathroom and a big reason why; is because we don’t know how to replace the toilet paper properly.
Here is an example of someone using improper toilet paper in their home. It’s really disgusting to see a sight like this, but believe it or not, it still goes on today. People will replace the old toilet paper that has ran out with a new roll, but they will have the toilet paper coming from underneath the roll; instead of over the top. I’m not sure why people do this. Perhaps the person that did this awful roll of improper toilet paper was having a bad day or just felt like letting their rage out in the restroom. The next poor soul that enters this bathroom, will have to use toilet paper that is being fed from underneath the roll. All because someone got mad or they figured since their day was sucking, they would make others miserable too. Hopefully this person is elderly with Alzheimer’s disease or it’s a child that is younger than 3 years old. Surely no one older than 4 or with a good mind would do something like this.
Everyone play their part and let’s step it up when we use our bathrooms at home or the public restrooms we find at the truck stops. If we all pitch-in and try our best, we can get our toilet paper turned around and be the best toilet paper nation on the planet! Remember, we want that toilet paper coming over the top and no more of this under-the-roll stuff. We are better than that!
